18-24th July 2026
The Reunion of the YouthSection 2000-2011!
In Ytterjärna, Sweden. Ytterjärna is an Anthroposophical centre in the countryside of Sweden, 40 minutes drive from Stockholm. We will be hosted on the campus of the International Youth Initiative Program (YIP) which lies in the heart of this inspiring area.
This Reunion gathering welcomes you and your families. Children and teens are welcome throughout the event, sometimes we will be all together and other times we will have spaces and dedicated areas for kids play, teen activities, and adult-only conversations. We are currently working on childcare options, teen programming, and kid/teen spaces. Check back here for more details as they become available and if you’re interested in helping lead this part of the gathering, please let us know!
We are still shaping a formal program to deepen our work together and you can count on there being plenty of time for swimming, walking in the woods, visiting the farm, local cafes and sitting around the fires at night. The balance between the structured and unstructured time will give us lots of ways to share what's alive in our hearts, active in our work and needed in the world.

The Reunion needs help with the finances, we are working on this by reaching out to several foundations but still could use your help. When you are paying for your registration please consider a donation that will directly support those in need, especially reducing fees and subsidizing long travel expenses.

If you want to contribute in another way or have suggestions where to send an application to, please contact us. Thank you so much for your support and participation, we are excited to see you this summer!

After my 11 years as the leader of the youth section, I wrote a summary

My years in the Youth Section came to an end.
We are faced with the fact that life now takes a new direction for many.
From idea to reality - into tasks.
Living what we have had as inspiration for a long time. The waiting time is over.

Our efforts will unite us in unexpected new contexts. Time will tell. I leave my task and the task lives on. Where we are and will be is always the right place.

THE I knows no limits when it has grown beyond itself.

„I believe in the development of humanity as a whole and that this development continues through each individual. I try to understand the world from this perspective and do not want to speak only negatively about what is happening. I believe that I am part of a larger context in which I have certain tasks to fulfil. I have a place that no one else can fill. Through me, the world changes, whether I realise it or not.

In memory of Nicanor Perlas (1950 - 2025)

Our friend and mentor Nicanor Perlas passed away on the 15th of August. We have so much to thank him for, and to remind ourselves of his courageous work. "Spiritual revolution must have happened first within us before we can create the new world we all long for".

Let us honour him during these days!
“For his outstanding efforts in educating civil society about the effects of corporate globalisation, and how alternatives to it can be implemented.”
A pioneer of sustainable agriculture and advocate for organic farming in the Philippines and beyond.
